Born on July 4, 1996, Dolly is a senior beagle/hound mix. She has a fear of thunderstorms, and prefers the safety of a crate when they occur. She is housetrained, and would make a wonderful addition to any family. Her sweet disposition and friendly greeting will melt your heart. |

beagle mix, affectionately known as "Little Bit" at Caring For Creatures, Grover
had been seen wandering for several months in 1998 but was too shy to accept help from people willing to provide it. But eventually hunger overtook his fear and he was brought to Caring For Creatures in January of '99. Grover gets along nicely with other dogs and is estimated to be about 11 years old. He's a sweet guy once he gets to know you. . |

| Sadie is an adult hound. She had a rear leg amputated following an accident, but you wouldn't know it to see her run around. She loves to cuddle and interact with everyone. Sadie loves leash walks and does not seem to be handicapped. Sadie will display dominant behavior toward other dogs. | |

| Matilda This compact little girl kitty was born in 1995 and is quite comfortable with humans as well as other cats. Matilda loves to be spoken to and doted on - when she’s in the mood, of course. Once she gets to know you, she’ll make a great little companion. She doesn’t like being held, but she enjoys being groomed and petted. Matilda would probably do best in a home with one or two adults, and friendly, laid-back kitty companions. |

A medium long-haired dark black/brown tabby, William Wallace enjoys being with people. He likes being petted and will tolerate being held for short periods. | Bandu This gorgeous girl was brought to Caring for Creatures when she did not adjust well to having a new baby in the house. She is a laid back and friendly cat, born in 1992. One of her rear legs had to be amputated several years ago after she was hit by a car, but she gets around just fine with three legs. Bandu would love to be the center of your world! | |

| Zico was born in 2004 and was brought to the sanctuary in 2005. When he arrived at the sanctuary, he was having eye problems, as he was born with inverted eyelids. He visited an eye specialist in Richmond and had laser treatment to correct this birth defect and is doing much better. | |
